Best description for us is probably "blanched". Boiled shortly and cooled off right away. Proceeded like this for more than ten years. Lying on stage, feeling the heat of the night, tasting sweat. Suddenly let go of and diving into ice cold water. The surface is hardened, but the color is kept alive. Technical literature describes it like this. The two nod in agreement and glance at the fresh vegetable behind the cauldrons. They have all been boiled inside different kettles through the early years. Two of them have leapt into same water four years ago which has been spiced up once in a while since then. Water blanched over and over... no success. until the third essential fruit landed inside the evolving stew 2006. Together, they cook with more than water. They are easy to peel and don't make a big deal out of it. It has to be more than good looking vegetables or overspiced soup, firm and juicy, far from being foul or overspiced. They say that the determined kernel is the key. So they speak, turn up the the amps and jiggle the drums. Sweet teeth, unite!
