UNITED ONE PRESENTS

LUBO DVORAK

"It seems to me I'm always one record ahead of myself. When I finish making one I already have an idea what the next one will be like..."
... says Luba about the bunch of songs he "collected" on the road somewhere between Vancouver, Amsterdam, Prague, Las Vegas and LA. This was the first recording he had done all live off the floor and he insists on recording ônly that way from now on.
"Everybody just got together at the studio in Vancouver, Allan (producer) threw up some mic's and pressed the record button. Kenny Aronoff (Mellencamp, Bob Dylan) played drums on half of it and as usual it was a unreal to work with him again, he really makes you play better. It was also great to have Dave Reimer, Robbie Steininger, Pete Baroni, Scott Smith and Mike Norman along.... Thanx Guys!"

Luba Dvorak was born in Brno, Czech Republic. The son of a blacksmith father and factory-working mother immigrated with his parents and brother to Canada at the age of seven, after spending a year in Austria. Music was always in the family, Luba's father was a well respected musician in the Czech Republic and a few steps down the family tree will show that Luba is a descendent of famous composer Antonin Dvorak.
