Here
it is, music from The Mountaineer. The man who comes from the mountains,
who would rather be in the sunshine than in the limelight. Who never
envied singers and guitar-players. Who is happy at the back of the stage
where the limelight is not so dazzlingly bright (when he plays drums
in Fink- yes, Fink from Hamburg. We like them too). But some years ago,
he bought a 4-track recorder in order to create a music diary, a diary
of exploration. And so The Mountaineer set out, in search of a particular
sound, a particular mood, a particular shade of sunlight. (The Mountaineer
is Henning Wandhoff).
